San Francisco Bay Bombers Roller DerbyWow! Remember roller derby? I'm talking KTVU Channel 2 1950's and 1960's high bank track professional roller derby! It's alive (barely) in the San Francisco Bay Area. One of the greatest gigs I ever did with a camera. The San Francisco Bay Bombers kick ass, despite their age. These people are tough as nails.
Fast, furious, and brutal in it's intensity it's something you need to go see. There were families from everywhere, screaming and yelling, and most importantly smiling and having a good time. I can't say enough about event. Go see them August 17th and 18th at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. You won't be disappointed. You will need a fast camera and fast lenses for this sport! Comments
